Kicking off a Podcast

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. For me, I personally have wanted to get into podcasting for years. It is probably my favorite sort of media to listen to and something that has always intrigued me. I have also worked on producing some other podcasts and webinars so switching the producer’s hat for a performer’s hat was something that was always appealing.

So how did this podcast get launched? Well it all started with a stag do….

Alex and I had not seriously spoken in many years but just before my stag do we got back in touch and I invited him along. We had not spoken because life got in the way and we literally picked up where we left off. There were some fantastic stories that were told that day and it stuck in my mind that we needed to do something with this. We all met up recently and decided to do this and what subjects to speak about.

The aim of this podcast is to provide laughs for people out there and hopefully provide a distraction from world events. We also want to highlight what our teenage years and 20s involved. What did we do before mobile phones? What was our social media? How did we learn what was right and wrong? How did we get away with doing things we shouldn’t etc.

The first episode is ready to release now and it covers a lot of the above. Please give it a listen and if you have anything to add please get in contact. We are a friendly bunch I promise.
